The College of Applied Medical Sciences (henceforth ‘AMS’), being a member of a larger academic body, works hard towards participating in serving its community as one of its main objectives. The college assists in developing the local and the national community health and medical statuses one of its basic pillars by supplying with a highly professional staff; specialized in the fields of Medical Laboratories and Environmental Health, highly taught and a trained one, depending upon solid scientific background and, as a result, is truly capable of serving its community and homeland effectively. Furthermore, the AMS has a role in solving the community health problems by implementing a number of applied projects related to the above mentioned specialties.

Established in 2011, the AMC has been the first college specialized only in applied medical sciences in Iraq and named after it. We are looking forward at broaden its scientific specialties to be more variant and has a more salient role in community medical services. Doing so, we are surely very keen to guarantee a high quality of performance and seek to reach a higher international academic credit.
