<\/a>College of Science, University of Diyala discussed a master dissertation on the detection of phishing attacks using advanced deep learning algorithms by the postgraduate student, Ms. Fahmi Subaih Fahmi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dissertation aimed at developing an integrated approach to detect phishing attacks by employing artificial intelligence techniques and deep learning algorithms to enhance cybersecurity and reduce the risk of cybercrime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dissertation emphasized the implementation of advanced data preprocessing steps, exploratory log analysis (EDA), and the use of advanced models such as LSTM, CNN, and their combination performance was also evaluated using metrics such as accuracy, specificity, recall, and F1 score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dissertation demonstrated that the hybrid LSTM-CNN model achieved the highest accuracy of 99.74% compared to other models, confirming the effectiveness of the proposed system in detecting phishing attacks and improving information protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
