Scientific Affairs Department
Department Tasks:
Responding to letters received from the University of Karbala – Office of the Scientific Assistant and its affiliated departments (Department of Scientific Affairs, Department of Postgraduate Studies, Department of Missions and Cultural Relations, Department of Continuing Education, Department of Quality Assurance).
Submitting and following up on the academic promotion cases for the faculty members of the college who are eligible for promotion, to the Promotions Committee and the Central Support Committee at the university presidency.
Opening and following up on the files of employees sent abroad for studies (scholarships).
Obtaining official approvals for academic leave for pursuing postgraduate studies inside Iraq.
Issuing administrative orders to form committees for plagiarism checking of research submitted for academic promotion of the college’s faculty.
Issuing orders to form examination committees and monitoring bodies related to them.
Following up on graduation research projects of final-year students.
Developing the research plan for the scientific research of the college’s faculty.
Coordinating with health departments to arrange student training in teaching hospitals within the governorate.
