Al-Nahrain University’s Master’s Dissertation on Effective Stabilization of Polyvinyl Chloride Films Using Added Complexes of Omeprazole & Tin

College of Science, Al-Nahrain University discussed a master dissertation on the highly effective stabilization of polyvinyl chloride films using added complexes of omeprazole and tin by the postgraduate student, Ms. Sara Basil Fawzi.

The dissertation aimed at preparing new compounds derived from organic tin and study their effect on the stabilization of commercial polymers used in outdoor applications against ultraviolet rays.

The dissertation highlighted that these compounds are highly efficient in improving the stability of polymers when exposed to sunlight, which extends their lifespan and enhances their resistance, making them of great importance in developing more sustainable materials for outdoor applications.
