As one of the scientific activities of the department of EH, a visit to the Primary Care Center of Al-Hurr District in Kerbelaa’ was done by a member of the fourth stage students in this department guided by the Asst. Lecturer Du’aa’ Hussain and the Asst. Researcher Thu Al-Norain Hassan. The sections of this center were seen especially that one of vaccines. There, the students have known about the procedure and the steps of giving a vaccine to citizens. In addition to that, the students learnt about the requirements for storing these vaccines safely, the types available there, the required number of dosages of each type and the age of those under the target of vaccination.
Beside the section of vaccines, the group of students visited the Section of School Health Services. They listened to an explanation of its head about the procedures followed in this section when checking school students, their services when children’s first registration in schools and their health activities in examining students in their schools. It is to mention that this visit has been done following a common cooperation achieved between AMS and the Health Office of Kerbelaa’.
