During a joint meeting with the head of the Turkish Scholarships Authority, Mr. Abdullah Ern, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed the development of mutual study programs and the empowerment of Iraqi students in specializations directly related to sustainable development.
Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed the importance of scientific and academic coordination and cultural relations between Iraqi and Turkish universities and the development of mutual scholarship programs in light of the contexts of understanding adopted by both sides.
His Excellency highlighted that Iraq provides a positive environment to attract international students through the Study in Iraq initiative.
For his part, head of the Turkish Scholarships Authority, Mr. Abdullah Ern expressed his appreciation to His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi for his direct interest in developing cultural, scientific and academic cooperation between the two countries.
