Wasit University’s Master’s Dissertation: On Modeling of Hydrodynamic Parameters in Inverse Fluidized Bed Reactor

College of Engineering, Wasit University discussed a master dissertation on modeling and optimizing of parameters in an inverse fluidized bed reactor by the postgraduate student, Mr. Sadiq Musadiq Muhammad Baqir.

The dissertation aimed at removing the blue triacyl dye on modified rice husks from polluted industrial water coming from factories through experiments with batch models of Lankemuir and Freundlig.

The dissertation demonstrated experimental tests on inverse fluidized bed technology at different times and under different operating conditions (bed height, flow rate and particle concentration).

The dissertation concluded by presenting viewpoints on the adsorption phenomenon by combining computational and experimental methodologies that provide valuable insights into improving adsorption efficiency in the fields of environmental engineering.
