During the inauguration ceremony of the buildings of the Departments of Accounting Techniques, Legal Administration, Surveying Techniques and Oil and Gas Refining at Technical Institute in Samawah affiliated with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi stressed the importance of developing the technical education environment.
Dr. Al-Aboudi inaugurates new departments and buildings, modernizing its programs responsible for the quality of outputs and stimulating its educational environment towards keeping pace with global technologies.
His Excellency said that the angle of interest in technical education is based on it being the cornerstone of the launch of the development renaissance and it is the way to develop youth skills, develop their capabilities and provide them with the knowledge and experience necessary for effective participation in the labor market.
Dr. Al-Aboudi continued that the Iraqi Government has paid great attention to the technical education sectors to achieve sustainable development, produce national artistic and technical segments armed with the experience and necessary skills to accelerate the wheel of the economy and provide the industrial and technical sectors with human resources that support the country’s position locally, regionally and internationally.
