His Excellency The President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid met His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi.
Dr. Rashid stressed that the success of university education is an essential prospect for the development, progress and prosperity of the country.
Mr. President reviewed that the education sector receives great attention from the Presidency of the Republic of Iraq, as it is a top priority for building and preparing people scientifically.
Dr. Rashid highlighted the need to activate coordination between Iraqi universities and their counterparts, as well as developing communication mechanisms, exchanging experiences and information, and strengthening the twinning process and partnership between them and universities in developed countries.
For his part, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi also reviewed His Excellency the President with the Ministry’s plans, programs and development projects for the education sector in the country.
Dr. Al-Aboudi appreciated the directives of the President of the Republic and his interest and care for the educational family.
