The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research inked an executive agreement with Imperial College London in the field of medical education and training.
Higher Education reviewed that the executive agreement includes several aspects, the fellowship program in the United Kingdom, master’s study in the clinical field, curricula, learning processes, learning innovations and adapting technological progress to meet the needs of students and the health system.
The Ministry also reviewed that the agreement includes preparing an advanced academic training program in the United Kingdom and conducting joint scientific research.
It is worth to be mentioned that the agreement was signed via a closed electronic meeting on behalf of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research by the President of Al-Nahrain University, Dr. Ali Abdul Aziz Al-Shawi, with the College of Medicine at Imperial College London in the United Kingdom and the director of the Collaborative Center with the World Health Organization (WHO) for Education and Training in the field of public health, Prof. Dr. Salman Rawaf.
