Dr. Al-Aboudi met the University’s council, which included its President and the Deans of the Colleges of Technology, Health Sciences, Engineering, Engineering Technologies, Arts and Humanities, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Law, Physical Education and Administrative Sciences.
His Excellency called on private universities in Iraq to further develop quality educational services and contribute to strengthen academic and developmental programs that serve the community.
Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted that twinning programs and joint scientific research with governmental and foreign universities have given serious impetus to improve performance and achieve the mission and goals of academic institutions in Iraq.
His Excellency added that the indicators of scientific publication in the Scopus containers and the results achieved in international rankings, especially in the results of the Times Ranking for Sustainable Development for 2023, bear a clear indication of tangible progress for private education institutions and universities.
Dr. Al-Aboudi inaugurated a new building for the College of Pharmacy, which includes modern specialized halls and laboratories, and the central student club, as well as reviewing projects under construction and laying the foundation stone for the university presidency building and the Future Center for Energy Research.
For his part, the President of the University, Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, appreciated the vigorous follow-up by His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi to the institutions of private university education, his visit to Al-Mustaqbal University, his meeting with its council and deans, and examining the details of its academic environment, which recorded indicators in the field of global publishing and achieved competitive results in the national ranking of universities and a number of International Rankings.
