Technical College -Al-Musayyib, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University discussed a master dissertation on the effect of adding bio boost aqua to fermented diets in improving the diet and the productive performance of carp fish by the postgraduate student, Mr. Ihab Yahya Abdul Hadi.
The dissertation aimed at identifying the extent of improving the nutritional value of carp fish feeds using the fermentation method with baker’s yeast S.cerevisiae and added to it Aqua Bioboost for the purpose of improving the quality of the feed and raising the efficiency of nutrition through studying growth standards and blood characteristics and studying the biochemical components of blood serum.
The dissertation reviewed that fermentation with baker’s yeast improved the growth standards and feed efficiency of carp fish and reduced the amount of the growth enhancer BioBoost that can be added to the fermented diet by (50%) and the possibility of using a high percentage of soybean meal in the components of the fermented diet up to (40%) with reducing the percentage of fishmeal to (5%) without causing any harm to the growth and health of the fish.
The dissertation recommended fermenting the components of fish feed with baker’s yeast before serving them to the fish because of its impact on the health and economic growth of the fish via reducing the rate of growth enhancer addition.
