College of Science, Al-Nahrain University discussed a Ph.D. thesis on modifying some medications and studying the potential effect of some biomarkers on clinical cases postgraduate student, Ms. Dina Naseer Ali.

The thesis demonstrated purifying, diagnosing, and inhibiting the alpha-amylase enzyme for patients with pancreatic cancer and evaluating the toxic effect of the new compounds on the pancreatic cell line.
