During a visit to the headquarters of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi congratulated its council on the election of its new president.
Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed the importance of integrating tasks according to applicable legislation, achieving the goals of the educational institution and strengthening its scientific climate, which is responsible for enhancing institutional performance, empowering university students with attendance and excellence and ensuring their rights stipulated by law.
His Excellency added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is keen on bridging fields of joint work with the Iraqi Academics Syndicate considering the national vision that serves university education and responds to the requirements of the national strategy for education in Iraq and in line with the Iraqi government’s program and its Ministerial curricula.
For its part, the Iraqi Academics Syndicate expressed its appreciation to His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi for his interest and keenness on overcoming challenges, establishing opportunities for success and translating them into academic programs that enhance the status of Iraqi universities and contribute directly to serve society and achieve sustainable development goals.
