His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi inaugurated College of Applied Medical Sciences, scientific laboratories and study halls at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Al-Muthanna University.
Dr. Al-Aboudi confirmed that the inaugurated laboratories and halls will contribute effectively in developing the absorptive capacity at Al-Muthanna University and will have an impact on the level of diversity of specializations.
His Excellency added that the inaugurating of these colleges reviews the Ministry’s commitment on developing university institutions, especially in fields that need direct support to stimulate the wheel of sustainable development.
Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed that these achievements at Al-Muthanna University and the inaugurating of medical laboratories and classrooms equipped with the latest modern educational technologies constitute an important detail in maturing and completing the educational institution’s infrastructure in Al-Muthanna Governorate, as it will ensure the provision of a high-level educational process that keeps pace with the times and contributes to the preparation of educational outcomes capable of facing challenges.
His Excellency continued by saying that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is committed to follow up on all projects and push for their completion according to announced schedules and timings in the service of the public interest and in the implementation of the government program and the Ministerial curriculum.
It is worth to be mentioned that the inauguration ceremony was attended by the Governor of Al-Muthanna, members of the Iraqi Parliament for the governorate, Chairman of the Governorate Council and a number of its members, Presidents of universities and Deans of colleges.
