During the inauguration of the projects at Jabir bin Hayyan University for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Najaf Governorate, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi inaugurated a number of urban projects, halls and laboratories.
Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed that the inauguration of the qualitative projects will enhance medical and health education and allow students and researchers to participate in research that contributes to the development of the health sector in Iraq.
His Excellency added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is working to support newly established universities, including Jabir bin Hayyan University and to develop its infrastructure and provide it with what enables it to achieve its goals and mission and compete in international rankings.
The inaugurated projects included medical chemistry laboratories, medical analysis, the College of Medical Sciences laboratory, the virtual legislation laboratory, the halls of Sayyid Martyrs of the Resistance (Sayyid Shohada’a Al-Moqawama) and the scholar Jabir bin Hayyan, and the internal departments building.
It is worth to be mentioned that the inauguration was attended by the University President, Dr. Ali Ismail Abdullah and members of the University Council.
