During the inauguration ceremony of the Higher Institute of Forensic Sciences for Postgraduate Studies at Al-Nahrain University, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research works according to regular steps and integrates with sectoral institutions to achieve its goals, meet its requirements, take into account variables, adapt to circumstances and overcome them in order to ensure sustainable education and perform responsibilities.
Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted that the establishment of this type of specialized institutes based on master’s programs in forensic chemistry, forensic engineering and forensic sciences will provide students with the opportunity to obtain a specialization in vital sectors and fields that overlap with the sciences of justice and play an important role in implementing the law and protecting the rights of individuals and society.
His Excellency continued by saying that the indicator of achievements made in the educational institution during the life of the esteemed Iraqi government was based on the quality of specialized programs and the positive work provided by faculty members and the link between outputs and development needs.
Dr. Al-Aboudi inaugurated the building of the scientific departments of the Higher Institute of Forensic Sciences, the classrooms and the building of the Institute’s deanship.
His Excellency honored several specialized academic figures and representatives of security and judicial institutions.
