The College of Applied Medical Sciences at the University of Karbala signed a twinning and joint cooperation agreement with the College of Science at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, within the framework of the university’s directives aimed at enhancing academic and scientific cooperation between educational institutions.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Faisal Nima Al-Yasari, and the Dean of the College of Science at Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, Assistant Professor Dr. Shaimaa Hussein Naufal. The agreement included unifying and developing academic curricula for corresponding specializations, exchanging scientific expertise, and adopting cooperative mechanisms for joint examinations.
The terms of the agreement encompass cooperation in the fields of teaching and scientific research, conducting joint research, and supervising student graduation projects. It also includes the mutual utilization of scientific laboratories available to both parties, which enhances the practical aspect of the educational process. Furthermore, the agreement covers organizing joint workshops and training courses that contribute to raising the efficiency of the teaching and technical staff.
Al-Yasari affirmed that the agreement represents an important step in supporting the quality of higher education and developing academic programs in line with academic accreditation requirements, pointing out that scientific partnerships contribute to elevating the level of research and expanding the horizons of institutional cooperation.
For her part, Dr. Shaimaa Hussein Naufal explained the importance of this twinning in enhancing scientific integration between universities and opening new horizons for academic and research cooperation, in a way that serves students and supports the rigor of the educational process.
