THE EFFECT OF RENAL FAILURE, HEART DISEASE AND DIABETES MELLITUS ON FERTILITY OF MEN IN KARBALA CITY

ABSTRACT : 
This study was carried out in AL-Zahra Hospital from March to June 2017. (80) adult male (men), (35-50) years old and in (18-24.9)kg/m2 were divided into (4) groups (20/group). The first group contained healthy men and assisted as controller group (G1), men in next group were with Renal Failure (G2), while men in the third group were with Heart Disease (G3) and the fourth group contained men with Diabetes Mellitus (G4). In this present study, we collect samples of blood to count the serum of (testosterone, LH, FSH and prolactine) hormones and we use the ELISA technique for measurement. The results
revealed that: Significant decrease (P<0.05) in serum testosterone levels in G2, G3 and G4 compared with control group (G1).
Significant decrease (P<0.05) in serum testosterone levels in G2 compared with G3 andG4. The results show important rise
(p<0.05) in LH, FSH and prolactin heights in serum in G2, G3 and G4 compared with control group (G1). From the data of the present research, it can be determined that Renal Failure, Heart Disease and diabetes mellitus effect on fertility in men and the greatest influence of Renal Failure on fertility in men.
