Mosul University’s Master’s Dissertation: On Virulence Factors Isolated from Burn Injuries & Trying to Inhibit Them

College of Science, University of Mosul discussed a master dissertation on virulence factors of Citrobacter spp isolated from burn injuries and an attempt to inhibit them.

The dissertation reviewed the plasmids found in these bacteria and how to neutralize them at (45 degrees C) in various ways, such as physical and chemical using urea and natural using onions and garlic for the first time in this field.

The dissertation highlighted the isolation and diagnosis of Citrobacter bacteria from burn injuries, as well as studying the sensitivity of these bacteria to the most used antibiotics in our society.
