University of Karbala’s Master’s Dissertation: On Theoretically Enhancing Radiation Therapy Via Using Nano-Particles

College of Science, University of Karbala discussed a master dissertation on theoretically enhancing radiation therapy via using Nano-particles as a radiation-sensitive agent by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Walaa Shaalan Sarhan.

The dissertation aimed at studying the effect of silver Nano-particles on radiotherapy and improve radiotherapy theoretically.

The dissertation concluded by proving the existence of a new technology in radiotherapy by reducing the number of radiotherapy sessions by half and increasing silver atoms, which leads to an increase in radiation sensitivity, corresponding to a decrease in the number of cancer cells in the lung, which confirms their complete destruction.
