The College of Applied Medical Sciences Council Hosts the External Examiner from Kingston University to Discuss His Evaluation Report

The Council of the College of Applied Medical Sciences at the University of Kerbala, chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Faisal Nima Al-Yasari, hosted on Thursday the external examiner, Dr. Ali Al-Kinani, a faculty member at Kingston University – London / United Kingdom, in a session dedicated to presenting and discussing his evaluation report, within the framework of the external examiner program approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

During the session, the report prepared by the external examiner after a five-day field experience was reviewed. The experience included evaluating the bachelor’s program in the Pathological Analyses Department within the Bologna Process for the academic year 2025-2026, and the extent to which the intended learning outcomes were achieved and aligned with the educational objectives of the program.

The Council also discussed the observations and recommendations that focused on enhancing the research aspect in academic courses, developing research projects and practical applications, and improving evaluation mechanisms in a way that contributes to raising the efficiency of educational outcomes and linking them to the needs of the community and the labor market.

The Council emphasized the importance of benefiting from the external examiner’s experience and international expertise in supporting the quality of academic programs, developing study plans, and adopting the submitted recommendations within continuous improvement plans, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and academic accreditation standards.
